Dr. Huang joined in the combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Program at Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University, Guangzhou, China, where she received seven years of dental education, including two years of orthodontic residency training. Upon graduation, she started practicing general dentistry in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University in China, before she was admitted to Boston University.
Dr. Huang received her DMD degree from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with high honors and was inducted as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. She practiced general dentistry in a private dental practice in Springfield, MA, until she began her postgraduate studies at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). She was the recipient of both the Clinical Excellence Award and the Clinical Proficiency Award from the AEGD program.
An active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the National Dental Honor Society, Dr. Huang is passionate about cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She is committed to staying current in the latest advancements in dental treatments and technologies by frequently participating in dental seminars and taking continuing education courses.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Huang enjoys playing the piano, travelling and spending time with her family.
